An exciting, leadership opportunity has yet arisen within the Crane Security Organization. We are seeking a Secure Materials Control Supervisor to be based in Crane Currency Sweden, who will lead the efforts in developing, implementing and managing our Secure Materials Control program, including processes for the material count, reconciliation and destruction of product and waste, leading to the timely completion and issuance of Balancing Reports to the customer.    

  • Lead efforts to build and maintain a robust secure materials control program, leveraging existing processes in various parts of the company
  • Serve as Subject Matter Expert for all secure materials control systems at the site
  • Understand the production process to help identify risks to product and waste along the manufacturing process
  • Perform risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend strategies for their mitigation
  • Escalate and attempt to resolve any discrepancy or irregularity identified during the reconciliation process
  • Ensure the supervised destruction of waste is carried out in compliance with the prescribed procedures and that the relevant destruction certificate is issued on completion
  • Ensure all security printed and other controlled items (Paper, Finished Goods, Plates, Secure Materials, and Waste) are properly recorded, and securely stored and that records are regularly checked and updated


  • Associate’s or International Degree (2 year degree) required.  Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Business or Security related fields of study is considered an advantage
  • Recognized certification, such as Professional Certified Investigator (PCI) or Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) preferred. 
  • Lean Green Belt or Black Belt certification is considered an asset


  • Minimum 5 years' functional relevant experience, preferably in manufacturing environment where secure materials are present or produced. Experience in the currency industry or other high security environment is an advantage

  • Must be able to effectively communicate in both written & oral form in English.  Being able to communicate in both written & oral form Swedish is an advantage

  • Consideration for production, quality and auditing experience

  • Ability to develop, evaluate policies and practices and internal controls considering emerging technologies and industry best practices and incorporate them as appropriate

  • Strong communication and supervisory skills, the ability to think strategically within a multi-disciplinary team and interact successfully with leaders of the site and company
  • Must be proficient in the use of standard office applications
